3 tips to make sure that your Academic Spoke is rock solid:
- Make sure there is an upward trajectory in your GPA as well as in the rigor of your classes. This shows colleges that you’re capable of taking on increasingly difficult classes while maintaining a strong GPA.
- Rock your SAT / ACT. Yes, colleges may still be test-optional this upcoming year, depending on how COVID plays out. However, having a strong test score will give you an extra edge over other students who did not bother to study. It will also help admission officers at your dream school evaluate your academic strength more easily.
- Study, take, and score high on your AP / IB tests. AP / IB tests are the closest in similarity to SAT Subject Tests in that you can showcase proficiency in a variety of subjects.
