    Dear Stewart Families,

We are all so excited to start the 2022-2023 school year.  We have many learning experiences planned for the year that will challenge our students to grow both academically and socially.  We have been getting ready for what I know will be a terrific year.  We will continue the excellence that has been established at Stewart Elementary.  It is our goal to help every child feel welcomed, connected, and part of our Stewart family. Our amazing staff is committed to providing a challenging curriculum that will have all of our students growing academically throughout the year.

We are thrilled to welcome new teachers to our Stewart family!  Emilie Garey will be teaching our A.M/P.M. Kindergarten classes.  Molly Slavey will be teaching 1st grade. Mallory Frangiosa and Tarrah Huber will be teaching 5th grade. They are all so excited to be a part of our Stewart family, and I know our students will love them.

I look forward to working together with families and collaborating on ways to help all of our students succeed. Please fill out Final Forms and sign up for each of your student’s teachers class Dojo. This allows our communication to be most effective.

We look forward to our Open House on Tuesday August 9, 2022 from 5:00-6:00 PM.  This is a great time to meet your child’s teacher.  Our first day of school will be on Thursday, August 11 for grades 1-5 and Monday, August 15 for our Kindergarten and PreSchool students.

I’m honored to serve as the principal of Stewart Elementary. It is truly a privilege to be a part of a community where parents, teachers, and students care for each other and strive to build positive relationships that support academic and social growth.  Enjoy the rest of your summer, and together we are going to make this a fantastic year.

Please feel free to contact me at (513) 864-2800 or dramsey@vikingmail.org. I look forward to seeing everyone at Open House on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

    Sincerely,

    Dennis Ramsey
