    2021-2022 Application Guidelines

As times have changed due to COVID-19, the Food Service Department is making changes as well. Keeping safety as the utmost important goal, we are trying to keep everyone at safe distances and less person to person contact. We would like to inform you of the changes we are implementing for the 2021/2022 school year.

    ● For the 2021-2022 School year, Princeton City Schools will be participating in the Seamless Summer Option Program (SSO). This program allows all students to receive free breakfast and lunch.

    ● If you are new to the district, have any changes in your household, or want to see if you qualify for the P-EBT card, please complete a Free / Reduced Application online, which is located on the Princeton City Schools website. Both English/Spanish Versions are available at https://www.payschoolscentral.com/. Click the PaySchools icon on the left-hand side of the district website. Paper applications are available upon request. If you are unable to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application online and are requesting a paper copy, please be aware that a paper application can take up to 10 business days to process.

    ● We ask you to fill out the Household Income Survey, which will be available at each location if you wish to see if you qualify for the Instructional Fee Waiver. This survey is only available in paper form at this time.

    ● The High School and Middle School students are able to purchase additional ala carte items for an additional cost. We want to minimize the cash handling between the student and the employee. We will not be able to provide cash/change to students, where applicable, from a purchase. The whole dollar amount will be applied to their meal account for future purchases. We are strongly encouraging you to set up accounts for your student(s) to prepay on-line
in order to help us obtain our safety goals and the safety of your student(s).
