Princeton City School District is proud to announce the Open Enrollment Application Period for the 2019-2020 school year. Princeton is a nationally recognized, award-winning school district that is rich in diversity and is equally rich in the educational opportunities offered to each student. Application for open enrollment is available to children whose parents/guardians reside outside of the district boundaries.
Application dates for Princeton City School District Open Enrollment will begin Wednesday, January 9, 2019, and continue through Friday, May 31, 2019. Applications will be accepted between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm. Forms and information are below. Applications will be considered on first-come, first-served bases in accordance with Ohio Revised Code 3313.98 and Princeton City School District policy and guidelines which require the district to accept students where class and program size permits. All applications must be submitted in person at the district Central Registration and Welcome Center. Transportation for those students who have been accepted for Open Enrollment will be provided only within the boundaries of the Princeton City School District and established bus routes and bus stops within the District.
Currently, the grades listed below are at capacity for the 2019-2020 school year and acceptance of Open Enrolled Students in these grades is not anticipated:

Any change in program or grade level availability will be communicated on this website.
Applications must be returned in person by the custodial parent/guardian at the district Central Registration and Welcome Center. Applications received by other methods will not be accepted. Applications will be considered on a first-come, first served basis (date/time of receipt) in accordance with district policy. A copy of the parent/guardian/government issue photo identification (e.g., Driver’s license or State ID, Military ID, passport) will be made at the time of the application.
It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that all necessary documentation is received during the designated application period. Required student records to be submitted with the application for review include:
- a copy of the student’s current transcript (high school students)
- a copy of the student’s End of Course results (high school students)
- a copy of student’s most recent report card
- student’s attendance record
- student’s discipline record
- student’s testing results, including any specialized testing/education
- court documents, if applicable
Withholding student records may result in the withdrawal of the Open Enrollment invitation. Notification of acceptance or denial and placement will be made to the parent/guardian by U. S. Mail.
Upon notification of acceptance for Open Enrollment, it is the responsibility of the parent to return to the Princeton City School District Welcome Center and complete the enrollment process in order for the student to begin attendance in the Princeton City School District for the 2019-2020 school year.
