Administration Staff Members

  • Princeton 2nd Quarter 2020-21 Letter in ENG and SPANISH

Dear Princeton High School Parents and Students,

First and foremost we would like to say a big thank you on behalf of the Administration and faculty for having a successful 1st Quarter and to everyone who is following our COVID-19 Building Protocol Plan. Second Quarter is off to a great start and the end of the first semester will be here before we know it.

As a reminder, your student’s first quarter grade is a progress report grade, not a transcript grade. Your student’s first-quarter grades will be averaged into your student’s second quarter grades to create their final grades of the first semester. Saying that, we encourage students to touch base with their teachers and communicate with them if they’re struggling in class.

Winter sports practices will begin on October 30th and there are several important dates that I want to update parents and students on. Important 2nd Quarter Dates

Additionally,  PHS will continue to utilize a Blended Learning Schedule (Blended Learning Schedule ). What this means is that we will utilize a combination of face to face learning along with a remote learning component. Students will be grouped into Schedule A or Schedule B, based on their last names.  Schedule A Scarlet will include students whose last names begin with A - L and Schedule B Gray will include students whose last names begin with M - Z.

The Blended Learning Schedule will have Schedule A (A-L) Scarlet students at school receiving face-to-face instruction during the Schedule A designated week while Schedule B (M-Z) Gray students will be remote learning during that week and following their schedule at home. The following week, the schedules will rotate, with Schedule B (M-Z) Gray students at school the entire week receiving face to face instruction while Schedule A (A-L) Scarlet students will be following their schedule at home.

This Blended Learning Schedule also has a built-in bell (8th & 9th) each school day to provide Live sessions for students and interventions for students who need extra help. Live Sessions & Interventions

Again, we can’t thank you enough for continuing to play an active and invaluable role in making this first quarter successful for our students and staff.  Stay healthy and stay safe! And as always, Go Vikes!

    Sincerely,

    Ron Bollmer

    Principal
