Princeton City School District proudly announces that Evendale Elementary School and Sharonville Elementary School have been selected by the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA) for the 2021 Hall of Fame School Recognition Program. The Hall of Fame School Award recognizes schools that engage faculty, students, and the community to provide a quality school experience.

OAESA presented the award virtually to the Evendale Elementary staff at a celebration on Zoom. Click the video below to watch the announcement. Next week, Sharonville Elementary staff will be recognized virtually.

Princeton City School District will offer students/adults who are age 16 or older the opportunity to receive the COVID-19 vaccination.

Currently, Pfizer-BioTech is the only vaccine approved for children as young as 16, IF the CDC guidelines change to 12 years and older, anyone in the appropriate age group will be eligible. You may reserve a spot, just indicate in the notes if the reservation is for a student aged 12-15.

The Healthcare Connection will host the FREE vaccination clinics onsite at the School-Based Health Center located at the high school at Viking Village.

Vaccinations are free, and no insurance information is collected.

We have confirmed that parents/guardians of 16 and 17 years old will need to accompany their child to complete the consent form and complete other documents. Students ages 18 years and older can sign their consent form but may have their parent/guardian accompany them, as well.

The vaccination clinic is scheduled on Saturday, May 15, for the first administration. The second administration is scheduled for Saturday, June 5. The time will be from 12:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Click this link to receive detailed information about Pfizer-BioTech, and to receive your parent/guardian consent form. There will be additional consent forms at the registration table if you forget to bring them. Click the link to the Sign-up Sheet to let us know that you are coming.

Can you spare 20 minutes of your time to help with a National YouthTruth survey?

We’d like your feedback by completing an online survey about your experience with your child’s school. The anonymous survey is being conducted by YouthTruth – a nonprofit organization that supports hundreds of schools and districts across the county.
Please take the survey before it closes at midnight on Friday, May 14th by clicking this link: ytsurvey.org/ocerfamily21

    Please note:
    • The survey needs to be completed in one sitting.
    • We ask that one member of each household fill out the survey.
    • If you have more than one child who attends the same school, you may respond to the survey multiple times - one time per child.
    • If you write any comments, please do not include your name or anything else that might identify you. Your responses are anonymous, and they will be combined with the responses of other parents and guardians before being shared back.

We sincerely thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback.

    Dashboard
When Princeton City School District (PCSD) Administrators receive notification of a positive case, they will notify students and staff that were in close contact of the person who received the positive case. Administrators will then notify the school family members and share the actions that have taken place and follow up procedures.

PCSD will post an updated COVID-19 Dashboard, on the website on Mondays to notify the community of COVID-19 spread in the school system. The information will also be published on www.coronavirus.ohio.gov.

Thank you for contacting your school nurse to report a COVID-19 case, no later than 24 hours after receiving a confirmed diagnosis or have been asked to quarantine.

    Temperature Checks
Daily temperature checks MUST OCCUR DAILY PRIOR to sending students to bus stop or to the school buildings.

Stay Home If You Are Sick
To stop the spread of infectious diseases, we all need to do our part. As cold, flu, and allergy season approaches, Princeton City School District is encouraging students and staff to stay home if you aren't feeling well or have symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste). One infected person can spread germs - your friends, co-workers, and classmates are counting on you!
