    Chromebooks in Classrooms
    Students will return to school any Chromebooks picked up in the spring if the student is returning to in-school learning.
    Students will have Chromebooks assigned to them individually in classrooms. This is to make sure they are using the same personal Chromebook each day.
    For parents that have opted for Remote Learning, we will have days scheduled for the parents to pick up a Chromebook for their student.
    We will also take applications for WIFI access devices for students who are in need. This will be need based.
    Computadoras en el Salón de clases
    Estudiantes devolverán la computadora que recogieron en la primavera si el estudiante está regresando en persona.
    Se le asignará computadoras a ellos individualmente en el salón de clases. Esto es para asegurarnos que los estudiantes están usando su computadora personal cada dia.
    Para los padres que eligieron Aprendizaje Remoto tendremos días programados para que los padres pasen a recoger una computadora para su estudiante.
    Nosotros también tomaremos aplicaciones para acceso de WIFI para estudiantes quienes están en necesidad de internet. Este será basado en necesidad.
    Parent & Community Education Series
    Princeton City Schools is offering a Parent & Community Educational Series. The topics will be relevant and meaningful.
    All of the programs will be virtual and begin at 6:30 p.m. They will be hosted on the Princeton Facebook page as a Live event @pcsdvikings.
    You are invited to join in and participate or rewatch the information at your convenience.
    Parent & Community Educational Series:
    August 11 - Equity, Equality, and Inclusion
    September 8 - Mental Wellness; School-Life Balance
    October 13 - Anxiety in children/teens (with a focus on COVID)
    November 10 - Digital Citizenship
    January 12 - Implicit biases
    February 9 - Vaping, drugs, alcohol, etc.
    March 9 - Coping with Stress
    April 13 - Hot Topics
    Ohio Sales Tax Holiday
    Friday, August 7 - Sunday, August 9
    This weekend is Ohio's Sales Tax Holiday!
    Here are the items exempt from sales tax:
    • Clothing priced at $75 per item or less
    • School supplies priced at $20 per item or less
    • School instructional materials priced at $20 per item or less
    Families can save on these items as they prepare for the start of the school year.
    Princeton Reopening Schedule - First Quarter
    Princeton City School District is offered parents/guardians the choice of remote learning or in-person learning. The in-person learning will be delivered on an alternating Scarlet/Gray schedule until the end of the first quarter, October 21, 2020.
    Letters are in the mail confirming your child(ren)'s choice of learning options. Please call your child's school, if you have questions.
    Scarlet & Gray Calendar for First Quarter
    The first day of school for students will be August 20th, which is a departure from the original first day of school that had been scheduled for August 13th.
    The first day of school for Preschool and Kindergarten students will be August 24th.
    Scarlet Schedule / Gray Schedule
    At this time, the learning models consist of: (1) Alternate schedule (Scarlet / Gray - 50% Capacity) with health and social distancing, and (2) Full-time remote learning by parent request.
    August 20 - Scarlet Schedule: students whose last names begin with A-L and siblings in the same household will attend in-person. Students whose last names begin M-Z and siblings will learn remotely.
    August 21 - Gray Schedule: students whose last names begin with M-Z will attend in-person. Students whose last names begin A-L and siblings will learn remotely.
    Scarlet Schedule / Gray Schedule: Students will rotate each week from in-person to remote learning.

    The Princeton Athletics Hall of Fame Committee is pleased to announce the Class of 2020 inductees for inclusion in the Princeton City School District Athletics Department’s Hall of Fame.
    “First and foremost, congratulations to the inductees representing the Hall of Fame Class of 2020. I would also like to thank the Hall of Fame Committee for their time and efforts in reviewing the nominations and selecting this highly qualified group of Vikings,” states Joe Roberts, athletic director. “The impact these individuals made on the Princeton athletic program is memorable. It is with tremendous Princeton Pride that we look forward to recognizing their accomplishments.”
    Tom Burton, superintendent of Princeton City Schools adds, “Each inductee is incredibly deserving of this honor. Joining the rich history of the Princeton Athletics Hall of Fame this impressive list of Viking athletes exemplifies the very meaning of dedication, determination, and drive.”
