Message From the Superintendent
June 30, 2020
Good evening Princeton Families,
This is Tom Burton, Superintendent of Princeton City Schools. This call is to request your help in completing a survey in order to safely reopen schools. As you know the safety and security of our students and staff are the district's top priority.
Tomorrow, Wednesday, July 1st, Princeton City Schools will be sending out an important survey regarding your intentions for when schools reopen in August.
Additionally, we will be reaching out within the communities to assist families with the completion of this intention survey. It is important that we hear back from each household and have a response to each of our students.
The survey will give you the ability to select remote learning options for the 2020-2021 school year. The options are also explained in the Board of Education Video from June 22nd and a slide presentation that can be found on the website.
You may select from the choices of:
- Remote learning for the first semester;
- Remote learning for the entire school year;
- Your child will return in person to school, regardless of whether that is a traditional return of 5 days a week or the alternating A/B flexible schedule.
We know that each family’s situation is different. It is important to make a choice that will work best for your child and circumstances.
You can help by completing the survey by July 14. Knowing your intentions will allow the district to finalize class placement, schedules, and transportation.
If you have questions, you can call the hotline at 513-864-1162.
Thank you for partnering with us as we continue “empowering each student for college, career, and life success.”
