Princeton & Community Food Distribution Information

The Princeton City School District is participating in Seamless Summer Option Program. Meals will be provided to all children without charge, and are the same for all children between the ages of 2 and 18, regardless of race, color, national origin, sex, or disability, and there will be no discrimination in the course of the meal service. Meals will be provided at the following sites and times as follows:

April 6, 2020

Any students in need may continue to receive food during the time that our buildings are closed. Our Food Services Department has been working closely with our Transportation Department, support staff, and volunteers to provide meals on a regular basis. 

 

In response to the needs and best practices, we will continue to provide Grab & Go meals at six elementary buildings.  This week, on Tuesday, April 7 and Thursday, April 9, anyone 18 and younger may go to Heritage Hill, Lincoln Heights, Sharonville, Springdale, Stewart, or Woodlawn Elementary schools for a meal package.  They will be operating from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. 

 

Our community partners are also delivering donated food and other life supplies to families in need. See the schedule on our website.  Meals during this week will also be available at St. Monica’s Recreation Center in Lincoln Heights. We are grateful for our partnership with the Princeton Closet,  Christ Church Glendale, Lincoln Heights Outreach Initiative, Montgomery Community Church, New Day and Reconcile Community Church, Sharonville United Methodist, St. Simon’s Church, Valley Boosters Food Pantry, Vineyard Church, and other community volunteers, who are collecting, packaging and distributing Student Meal Kits and other items to Princeton families in need.

Food services will continue to operate with one change this week, with Morning Bus Stop breakfasts on Wednesday, April 1st and Friday, April 3rd only during the middle school and elementary school bus routes. Grab and Go meals will be available on Tuesday, March 31, Thursday, April 2nd, and Friday, April 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.  All Princeton students can go to any bus stop or elementary school for food distribution. 

 

Technology check-out devices are available for any Princeton student including grades K-2 for curbside pickup on Thursday, April 2nd and Friday, April 3rd.  Please see our website, www.princetonschools.net for the form and more information on this program. Please bring your own pen to sign off on the form at the pickup.

Good Afternoon Princeton Families, 

 

As you know, Princeton City School District is on "Spring Break" this week.  We will continue providing meals to our Princeton students next week. Gathering food and necessary supplies is an allowable reason to leave your homes, as stated in Governor Mike DeWine’s “Stay at Home” order.  

 

Food distributions will resume next week. Children 18 and under must be present to receive meals.

 

Buses will deliver meals during their MORNING ROUTES on:  

Monday, March 30

Wednesday, April 1 - MIDDLE SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY ROUTES ONLY (any Princeton student can go to the bus stops for food)

Friday, April 3 - MIDDLE SCHOOL AND ELEMENTARY ROUTES ONLY (any Princeton student can go to the bus stops for food)

 

Grab & Go packages will be available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at:

Como saben, el Distrito Escolar de Princeton City está en "Vacaciones de primavera" esta semana. Continuaremos brindando comidas a nuestros estudiantes de Princeton la próxima semana. Good afternoon,

Princeton City School District’s Food Service program will begin delivering breakfast meals to students at bus stops.  This will be a mobile drop-off site serviced by staff, volunteers, and our First Student bus drivers. We appreciate our partnership with First Student and their flexibility to work out this drop-off method. 

 

Buses will run AM routes at the regularly scheduled times when they would pick students up for school.  We will deliver on Friday, March 20th, and then after Spring Break on Monday, March 30, Wednesday, April 1 and Friday, April 3.

 

Grab & Go food packages are available from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.this Thursday and Friday at the following school sites:

Heritage Hill

Lincoln Heights

Sharonville

Springdale

Stewart

Woodlawn

 

We will have a Grab & Go pick up at Viking Village on Friday, March 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

 

As a reminder, our school district will have Spring Break on March 23-27. 

 

Technology devices:  Students in grades 6-12 who need technology devices and have filled out the online request form will be available for pick up on Thursday, March 19 at Princeton High School.  The pick-up times are between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. We are currently collecting information for elementary school students and will be making an all call about elementary distribution at a later time.

El programa de Servicio de Alimentos del Distrito Escolar de la Ciudad de Princeton comenzará a entregar desayunos a los estudiantes en las paradas de autobús. Este será un sitio de entrega móvil atendido por personal, voluntarios y nuestros conductores de autobuses First Student. Agradecemos a  First Student por su apoyo y flexibilidad para resolver este método de entrega. 

 

Los autobuses recorrerán las rutas de la mañana a las horas programadas regularmente, cuando recogerían a los estudiantes para la escuela. Entregaremos el viernes 20 de marzo y luego después del receso  de primavera el lunes 30 de marzo, miércoles 1 de abril y viernes 3 de abril. 

 

Adicionalmente los paquetes de comida Grab & Go estarán disponibles de 11:00 a.m. a 1:00 p.m., este jueves y viernes en las siguientes escuelas:

Dispositivos tecnológicos (computadoras): los estudiantes en los grados 6-12 que necesiten dispositivos tecnológicos (computadoras) y  hayan completado el formulario de solicitud en línea, podrán recogerlos el jueves 19 de marzo en Princeton High School de 11:00 a.m. y la 1:00 p.m. Actualmente estamos recopilando información sobre los estudiantes de primaria y posteriormente haremos una llamada completa sobre la distribución para los estudiantes de primaria.
