PHS Youth Build Change Class Research Presentation

YBC Class Research Presentation

On Tuesday, May 3rd, students from the Youth Built Chance Research class presented their findings from an entire school year's worth of research.  The Youth Built Change Research class is a unique class that is a part of a grant from the National Institute of Health written by partners at the University of Cincinnati.  Students from Manchester High School in Adams County along with students from Princeton High School explored such topics as mental health, drug rehabilitation and relapse, stereotypes of drug abusers and the effect of drug use on families.  The students collected data via survey, interviews, focus groups and diary entries to come up with their conclusions and take-aways.  That information was presented to our partners from UC as well as members of Princeton's cabinet this Tuesday as a culminating event for the class.
The students involved were:  Ema Carter, Alexandra Fite-Clements. Jeleisa Fulton, Kortnee Hughes, Aries Hutcherson, Melanie Kessler, Marie Nzale, Nandini Patel, Vatsal Patel, Claudine Sessinou, Rachel Sherwood, Norma Solis-Mendoza, Madison Wiedeman, Natalie Williams and Payton Wilson.
