Black History Month with famous historical figures in black and white photographs on a red background

Princeton City Schools is one of the most diverse school districts in the state of Ohio. And with that comes not just an incredible opportunity, but also responsbility, to provide equitable access to education and opportunities for all of our students, regardless of race, gender, or socioeconomic status.

Black History Month provides us with a gentle reminder of the contributions the Black community has made in shaping and elevating our world. From Frederick Dougless and W.E.B. DuBois to Rosa Parks and Martin Luther King, Jr; from Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron to Serena Williams and Simone Biles, our world is stronger for the lives of those Black individuals who have inspired us to go further, love better, and take risks for a better tomorrow.

This month, the Princeton Innovation Center will join the rest of Princeton City Schools in celebrating Black History Month. We look forward to celebrating with you.

Take care, and as always, Go Vikes!
