Stewart Elementary students began class on Thursday for the 2026-27 school year, but a new feature has the school buzzing with excitement.
On Friday, the school unveiled a newly-painted playground surface, which brought to life games such as foursquare and hopscotch for students to enjoy during recess and other recreation times.
Stewart Elementary welcomes back students as a newly-minted Hall of Fame School, a distinction the school proudly earned late last school year.
