✨ BIG NEWS for Stewart Elementary!✨ We are beyond proud to share that Stewart Elementary has officially been named a 🏆Hall of Fame School🏆 by the Ohio Association of Elementary School Administrators (OAESA)! 🎉 This incredible honor came after a rigorous process that began last fall—from a detailed application to an on-site visit by an OAESA evaluation team. They connected with our Superintendent, Stewart staff, and community members—but the true highlight? 🌟 A student-led tour of Stewart’s building! Hearing the students confidently share what makes Stewart so special left a lasting impression on everyone. WAY TO GO STEWART!

A vision came to life at Stewart! ✨ Mrs. Engel sparked an incredible idea, and with the power of teamwork, it became a reality. Huge thanks to David from Rickerd-ART for bringing amazing artistic talent to the project, and a special shoutout to Ms. Babel and Jodi Kessler for their creative contributions. 🎨 This project wouldn’t have been possible without the generous support of Stewart’s PTSO, our families, and the local community. Stewart staff and students are so grateful for everyone who helped make this vision shine! 💙

This is a day camp for incoming middle school students. It is a great way to make friends, learn the hallways, and meet some of the teachers students will have at PCMS. This is a free program for all 5th graders who will be coming to PCMS in August.

FACILITY CLOSED - NO ENTRY

Jake Sweeney Stadium and Pat Mancuso Field (Chester Road) are closed for construction. No one is permitted in the area at any time without Megan Construction’s approval.

Please do not enter or use the stadium/field until further notice. This includes practices, workouts, recreation, and informal use. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe.

Cross-grade level curriculum sharing at Stewart! Mrs. Chenault's class was invited to Mrs. Montgomery's class to listen to them sharing their End of Module task about animals and their features.

All Stewart students in K-5 participated in an i-Ready Winter Olympics Challenge. Each homeroom was placed on a team. The team's goal was to pass 1,500 lessons. Congratulations to the 3 teams who met the goal: The Downhill Skiers, The Snowboarders and the Cross Country Skiers. All students on a winning team received a hot chocolate party. Students on the winning teams who passed a total of 20 lessons received a gold medal and a treat with their hot chocolate. Stewart students passed a total of 8,802 lessons during the challenge!

Mrs. Engel puts on an amazing performance! Stewart 2nd grade Sailors set sail on an epic adventure… racing across the seas in search of impossible treasures! 🌊 Through stormy seas, silly mistakes, and lots of laughs, our three teams discovered something pretty amazing… 💡 The real treasure wasn’t something they found — it was working together as one crew! And in true Viking fashion…🛡️ they discovered their greatest treasure of all: Mr. Ramsey! 🛡️ (We always knew our principal was legendary 😉) From start to finish, these sailors shined with teamwork, energy, and BIG stage confidence. We are so proud of every single performer! ⚓ Once a sailor, always a sailor. Once a Viking, always a Viking. #AAGV

Stewart 5th graders are scientists in the making! Students in Ms. Young’s class started to test the effects of gravity with their sheep in a Jeep experiment! 🐑🛻

Stewart celebrates opening day with a Red’s Spirit Day! ⚾❤️

Mrs. Moreland’s students at Stewart are finding setting in our story “Three Little Pigs!” Each group was in charge of displaying a different setting from our story. 🏡🐷

Ms. Huber’s class at Stewart celebrated the end of reading the “Little Red Hen” by enjoying some bread and jam like in the book. Shout-out to Ms. Downs for making the experience extra special for our students!🥖🍇

Support Stewart PTSO by getting a LaRosa’s Buddy Card! Ends THURSDAY, MARCH 26th Cards will be delivered back your student after spring break. The PTSO is helping Stewart get a mural! Thanks to Mrs. Engel’s hard work and dedication, the PTSO is helping her vision of the mural come to life! Thank you for supporting this cause and helping make Stewart a more beautiful place!

No better way to end the week than with donuts! Stewart students enjoyed the sweet breakfast before having another great day of learning!

Underground Spirit Day at Stewart was a huge success! With creativity, word of mouth, and a little AI magic, staff and students pulled off the ultimate surprise for Mr. Ramsey. From shirts featuring his face and favorite sayings to outfits inspired by his signature style, the whole school joined in on the fun. Hallways were decorated with coloring pages created by every student, making it a truly schoolwide effort. It was the perfect way to celebrate how loved and respected Mr. Ramsey is—and to honor his incredible sense of humor!

A sweet and savory surprise for staff members at Stewart! The Seasonal Snack Shack sponsored by the Sunshine Committee put together a cart filled with snacks and drinks to brighten every ones day. A special shoutout to Mrs. Engel for the display of treats on the cart and coordinating talented students to deliver the treats!
