Princeton City Schools is proud to have been honored with the Ohio Department of Education's Momentum Award, demonstrating outstanding improvement in achievement while also continuing to show growth.
To be considered, districts and individual schools must have improved their "performance index" by three or more points in the State Report Card between the two previous school years and received a value-added progress rating of four or more stars.
Princeton City Schools was rated four stars (out of five) overall by the State Report Card released in September. The district also received five stars in progress and five stars in gap closing.
Princeton High School and Princeton Community Middle School were also honored with the Momentum Award. Princeton High School is rated four-and-a-half stars overall with a five-star rating in graduation rate. Princeton Middle School is rated four stars.
