We recognize the challenges the transportation stoppage has created for our families and school community. Thank you to our Viking families, students, teachers, principals and staff for your patience, flexibility, and support as we continue working on alternative transportation solutions.

Every school day matters. While we understand the difficulties caused by the stoppage, we must continue to accurately record student attendance. Families can avoid unexcused absences by completing the Transportation Survey, available through your email or the district website.

To our students unable to attend school during this time: We miss you and look forward to welcoming you back!

Princeton Middle School sixth-grade boys’ “Lil Vikes” basketball tryouts: Monday - 10/12/2026 from 3:15-4:30PM, Tuesday 10/13/2026 from 3:15-4:30PM, and Wednesday 10/14/2026 from 3:15-4:30PM. Players will register on site! Come in athletic wear/ with a drink. All players must exit the building after school and wait for a coach to let them in the Middle School main entrance. Students found wandering the hallways will not be permitted to participate.

Transportation Alert: First Student bus routes that are not operating the morning route today, September 30th include: 12, 13, 22, 25, 40, 50, 65, 66, 68, 80. Families should find alternative ways to school. If there are updates for specific routes, we will contact the riders on those buses. School is open. Good afternoon Viking Families,

First Student Bus routes that are not operating this afternoon, September 29, 2026, include buses 15, 73, 63, 50, 81, and 51.

Bus 15 transports students home from PHS, PCMS, and Lincoln Heights Elementary School.

Bus 50 transports students home from Sharonville.

Princeton families whose students ride Bus 15 and 50 may receive additional information through the FirstView app or from their school. At this time, families of students who ride these routes should plan to have a parent/guardian or other approved adult pick up their student from school this afternoon. Please bring appropriate identification. We are only calling families on impacted buses; otherwise, you will receive only a text message and email to keep you informed.

If your student's bus is not listed above, transportation is operating as scheduled.

We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience as the transportation team works to cover all service routes.

Transportation Alert for 9/29/2026: Please see your email regarding bus routes that are not operating this morning. This affects buses 73, 51, 63, and 81.
Families with students on those buses should plan alternate transportation if possible. Please call your child’s office if you can not transport your child to school. Join us Wednesday, September 30, as our Princeton Vikings take over Chester Road for one of our favorite Homecoming traditions! Come cheer on our students, schools, teams, clubs, and organizations! At the conclusion of the parade, we’ll keep the Viking spirit going at our Community Pep Rally at Jake Sweeney Automotive Stadium! First Student, Inc. school bus 21 is not running its Princeton High School route today, Friday September 25, 2026. Students on buses 47, 73, and 82 are being picked up by alternative bus drivers. We're working to minimize delays and find substitute drivers for the middle school and elementary routes. We appreciate your patience as we get students to school safely and will keep you updated if those routes are impacted. Buses are tracked through the FirstView app. If you're having trouble tracking your child's bus, try deleting and reinstalling the app. The PCS District Code is U6L1M.

UPDATE: The Evendale Police Department has notified us that road closures related to the Cooper Road water main break are expected to continue through the end of this week.

Evendale Elementary remains open and is operating on its normal schedule.

First Student Transportation will work around the road closures, but families should be prepared for possible bus delays in the Evendale area.

Evendale Elementary has water pressure and is NOT currently under a boil advisory. Students are encouraged to bring a full, clear water bottle to school each day this week.

We will continue to monitor the situation and share additional information if changes affect school operations, transportation, or water service.

Princeton and Evendale Elementary Families,

Due to a water main break on Cooper Road in Evendale, road closures are in effect on Cooper, Winnebago, and Reading Roads, which may affect morning transportation on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

First Student Transportation is aware of the closures and will adjust bus routes as needed. Families should be prepared for possible delays for buses traveling through the affected area. Evendale Elementary School will operate on its normal schedule on Tuesday.

Evendale Elementary currently has water pressure and is not under a boil water advisory. A boil water advisory is in effect for an area south of the school area. As an additional precaution, we encourage students to bring a full, clear water bottle to school on Tuesday, September 8.

The District expects to receive another update regarding the water main break on Tuesday afternoon. We will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any changes that affect school operations or transportation.
