Orcha-Palooza 2026: Wednesday, March 11
Dear Orchestra Students and Families,
We are approximately two weeks out from our 2nd annual Orcha-Palooza! What is Orcha-Palooza? Instead of hosting our normal Winter Concerts in March, we have created one giant mega event for all of our students in grades 6-12 called Orcha-Palooza! This event will substitute our typical Winter Concerts and our 8-12 May Mixer. Because this is a concert, your student will receive a grade for their concert attendance and participation.
This event is FREE to attend and open to all people of all ages! There will be raffles, games, food, and prizes! Entry to the concert is free, but if you’d like to participate in a raffle or play a game, you will have to purchase tickets and wristbands. This is our biggest fundraiser of the year. Funds from this concert will go directly back to your student in the form of music, strings, rosin, and other classroom supplies such as pencils, nail clippers, and files.
Call times are different for this concert! Please see the second page for information regarding call times and performance times.
Please plan on sending your child(ren) in with 1 2-liter bottle of pop. Students will bring bottles to class starting tomorrow, and leave them under the whiteboards.
Please sign up to help volunteer and bring in prize donations! We cannot do this without your help. https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0B4EAFAA2EA4FCC70-62440619-orchapalooza
If you have any questions regarding this concert, please reach out to Dr. Casey (scasey@vikingmail.org) or Ms. Bates (hbates@vikingmail.org).
Thank you!

Students may wear a t-shirt, long sleeve or hoodie in their colors required. If students are in multiple ensembles, they may choose one color shirt to wear.
🎥Volunteers & Donations

We need your help with set-up, clean up, Middle School student management and running our games/booths! Please consider helping where you can. We will do our best to ensure you are able to watch your child(ren) perform.
