THE FLOOR IS LAVA at Stewart! The annual event is a huge hit to celebrate positive leadership behavior from students building wide. Students crawled through tunnels, jumped over obstacles, balanced on beams and avoided the “Lava!” 🌋 This event wouldn't be possible without the amazing community support of Stewart. Stewart Staff Highlight! Mrs. Landon has been a teacher at Princeton for 16 years. She has taught 1st and 2nd grade as well as Title I. Mrs. Landon is currently an English Language Learner Teacher and has been at Stewart for over 6 years. She loves to make greeting cards, crochet, and cross stitch. Students and staff at Stewart participated in World Read Aloud Day! David Shannon read “No David” and Scholastic author Lester Laminack shared his newest children’s book, “A Cat Like That!” to students across all grade levels! #AAGV #ILovePrinceton









4th-grade students in Mrs. Tllman's PE classes at Stewart worked together to create tumbling performances. Students needed to cooperate and put their teamwork skills on display as they learned balancing & weight transfer moves, recorded their choreography, and performed for their classmates. #AAGV #differencemaker #WeNotMe

Stewart Staff Highlight! Mrs. Kempthorne is an amazing Library-Media Paraprofessional. She has held this role for seven years, four being with Princeton. Mrs. Kempthorne has been in education for about 20 years teaching preschool, technology, and library. She has been in three different school districts in Ohio, and has been at three different elementary schools in Princeton - Evendale, Glendale, and Stewart - all in the library. A fun fact about Mrs. Kempthorne: She has been rock climbing in 13 different states! Stewart Elementary is lucky to have Mrs. Kempthorne as a key staff member! #AAGV #WeNotMe #differencemaker

Science is delicious at Stewart! To finish off the States of Matter unit in science, Ms. Slavey's class made root beer floats! They mixed ice cream (a solid) with root beer (a liquid), which created foam (a gas). They loved seeing all three states of matter and especially loved eating their root beer floats afterward! #differencemaker #AAGV #WeNotMe







Science is Electrifying at Stewart! Students in their 4th grade science class had to work as a team to complete an electrical circuit. Groups were successful in making their light bulbs light up! #AAGV
