Principal Tim Walker of Glendale Elementary School represented Princeton City Schools at the University of Cincinnati’s (UC) Economic Center Awards event on April 21.
Principal Walker participated in a panel discussion focused on the critical importance of financial literacy in education. He shared insights into how our students at Glendale Elementary and other elementary buildings are using the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and UC’s Market Madness to benefit from enhanced financial literacy programs. Our Little Vikes learn the value of a Viking Buck as they save, spend, and learn how to sell items.
Equipping our students with financial skills is crucial for their future success. Principal Walker's contribution to this important conversation underscores our district’s commitment to fostering an environment where students can thrive academically and personally.
The Princeton Advantage allows us to continue providing initiatives, programs, and partnerships that enhance our students' learning experiences and empower them for college, career, and life success.
