Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year! I hope you and your family had a wonderful summer. We can't wait to see our Vikings back in the building! As the first day of school approaches, here are a few important dates and reminders to help your family have a smooth start.
OPEN HOUSE - Wednesday, August 12 (4:00-5:00 PM)
We hope every family can join us! During Open House, you will:
Meet your child's teacher
Visit the classroom
Drop off school supplies
Sign up for ClassDojo
Receive information about dismissal procedures
Kindergarten families will receive the day and time for their child's Orientation & Assessment
FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Grades 1-5: Thursday, August 13
Kindergarten Orientation and Assessments: August 13 & 14
First Full Day for Kindergarten students: Monday, August 17
ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL
Morning Arrival
8:45 AM - students having breakfast at school may enter the building
9:00 AM - students not having breakfast at school may enter the building
9:15 AM - students are marked tardy
Please remain in your vehicle, follow staff directions, and do not drive around other vehicles in the car line.
Afternoon Dismissal
3:45 PM - Dismissal begins
Please remain in your vehicle. We will bring your child to you. Do not drive around other cars.
Dismissal changes must be sent in writing to the teacher or called into the office by 3:00 PM.
4:00 pm - End of dismissal. All students should have been picked up.
