Dear Princeton Families,
As we wrap up the week, I invite us to take a moment to pause and remember September 11, 2001.
Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the lives lost and the families and communities forever changed by that day's events. We also remember with profound gratitude the first responders and countless others who courageously risked their own lives to help and save others. Their bravery, compassion, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
For many of our students, September 11 is an event they know only through books, videos, or the stories of others. As educators, leaders, parents, and caregivers, we have a unique responsibility to help future generations understand the lessons of September 11. May the unity, resilience, courage, and compassion demonstrated in the days that follow continue to guide how we serve our students, support one another, and strengthen our community.
