Evendale Elementary Specialized Classrooms Celebrate Together with a Fall Harvest Party

The spirit of fall and friendship filled the air as four specialized classrooms at Evendale Elementary  came together  for a joyful Harvest Party celebration. Students from multiple classrooms gathered to share in crafts, seasonal activities, and plenty of smiles, marking a special moment of inclusion and connection across the school community.

The event featured hands-on craft stations where students created colorful paper pumpkins, leaf collages, and sensory-friendly autumn art. Teachers and support staff worked side by side with students, encouraging creativity and teamwork.

Beyond the crafts and treats, the Harvest Party was an opportunity for students to practice social skills in a fun, relaxed setting. Laughter and conversation filled the room as new friendships blossomed. Teachers remarked on how meaningful it was to see students supporting one another and celebrating each other’s achievements.

“This event is all about coming together,” said one teacher. “Our students have unique strengths, and when we gather like this, everyone shines. It’s a reminder of how much we can learn from one another.”

The Harvest Party wrapped up with plenty of gratitude for the volunteers and staff who made it possible. As students returned to their classrooms, many carried not just their crafts, but also the joy of having shared a special day with friends old and new.
