Our Unsung Heroes
Paraprofessionals—also known as paraeducators or instructional assistants—play a critical role in making Evendale Elementary a place where every child can learn and thrive. They:
Provide one-on-one and small-group support
Assist children with special needs and individualized education plans
Help English-language learners build confidence and skills
Reinforce classroom instruction and help maintain a positive learning environment
Build trust and meaningful connections with students
Step in wherever they are needed, always with patience and dedication
