Evendale Elementary -

The kindergarten class had a fun surprise during story time when the Mystery Reader turned out to be our school nurse, Mrs. Burton! The students were so excited as they tried to guess who was coming, and their faces lit up when they realized it was someone they already knew. Our nurse read a story the kids loved, and everyone listened closely, laughed along, and shared their ideas about the book. It was also a great chance to remind students that Mrs. Burton is there to help keep them healthy and feeling their best. After the story, the kids talked about visiting the nurse’s office and asked a few questions, which helped make them feel even more comfortable. It was a simple but special moment that made reading time extra fun. Thank you to our school nurse Mrs. Burton  for being such a great Mystery Reader—we can’t wait for the next one!
