Today, the kiddos became little scientists as they recreated SNOW right in our classroom! ❄️
After reading “The Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats and learning how the main character Peter explored and played in the snow, we decided to bring that experience indoors.
Creating snow in the classroom allowed the kiddos to enjoy an up-close, hands-on sensory experience—without the cold weather! This fun science activity encouraged exploration, creativity, and sensory development. They truly enjoyed getting their hands in the “snow” and discovering how it felt and formed. What a cool way to combine literacy and science!
