Hallways are transformed into colorful displays featuring figures such as Martin Luther King Jr., Rosa Parks, and Maya Angelou. Decorating doors for Black History Month creates an environment where representation matters. It sends a clear message that the achievements and contributions of Black Americans are an essential part of history — not just in February, but every day. As students pass through the hallways, they are reminded that history is made by people who dare to dream, speak up, and work for change. Through art, research, and collaboration, schools transform simple doors into powerful gateways to knowledge, respect, and inspiration.
