Evendale’s i-Ready Olympic Challenge
Students at Evendale were putting their learning skills to the test in the month of February with an exciting academic competition called the i-Ready Olympic Challenge. The event ran from February 2 through February 27 and encouraged students to work together while improving their reading and math skills.
What Is the Challenge?
During the challenge, students formed teams and worked together to complete and pass as many i-Ready reading and math lessons as possible. The goal was to build teamwork while helping everyone grow academically.
If a team successfully passed at least 500 lessons during the month of February, they earned a movie and popcorn party to celebrate their hard work.
Grand Prize
While many teams can earn the movie celebration, one team will go even further. The team that passes the most i-Ready lessons overall will win the Olympic Challenge and celebrate with a pizza party with their teammates.
Teamwork and Learning
Students collaborated with their teammates to complete lessons before the end of the month. By working together, they motivate each other, stay focused, and reach their goals.
The i-Ready Olympic Challenge was a fun way for students to practice important reading and math skills while enjoying a little friendly competition.

Our goal for students was to have them pass 1,500 lessons during the month of February (Feb. 2-27). Students passed a grand total of 2,646 lessons!!

3rd Place with 803 lessons passed - Champions
2nd Place with 858 lessons passed - iReady to Win
1st Place with 985 lessons passed - Olympic Snow Buddies
