Ohio School Nurse of the Year (Franca Burton)
Congratulations to Franca Burton for being named the Ohio Association School Nurse of the Year. She has been selected as the 2026 School nurse of the year. This recognition is well deserved for all of the hard work that Franca does every single day. Franca goes above and beyond to help all students and nurses throughout the district.
Franca has helped bring Project Adam to Evendale and now has helped support most of the other buildings across the district to become Safe Heart schools. Franca helps lead training across the district for all nurses throughout the year. She has worked on getting grant funding to help secure equipment so schools are set up for maximum safety.
We are so proud of all the work and support that she provides day in and day out and this award truly recognizes one of the best nurses around.
