It is with great  pleasure that Evendale Elementary recognizes  our Certified Staff Member of the Year. Beth Cahill .For more than 26 years in the Princeton district, Beth has exemplified what it means to be a dedicated and compassionate educator. She is one of the most caring teachers you will ever meet, consistently meeting students where they are and ensuring that each child feels valued, supported, and capable of success. Beth  Cahill intentionally models and teaches kindness, social-emotional learning, self-control, and self-regulation through her daily classroom routines, helping our youngest learners build a strong foundation for both school and life.

Beth creates a classroom environment that is warm, safe, and full of encouragement. Her patience and genuine love for her students help foster our Little Vikes’ excitement for learning and school. She greets every new student and family with open arms and works hard to make each preschool experience both meaningful and memorable. Beth also builds strong partnerships with families by communicating openly about student needs and challenges while always approaching conversations with kindness, respect, and understanding.

In addition to her work in the classroom, Beth is a valued leader within the preschool team. She continuously seeks opportunities for professional growth and supports her colleagues by sharing her knowledge, creative ideas, and thoughtful insights. Beth often takes the initiative during team meetings, helping prepare for state and SUTQ visits, collaborating on data collection, and supporting the administration of ELA assessments. She is always willing to help problem-solve and listen carefully to others, offering thoughtful advice that reflects both her experience and her deep care for students and colleagues.

Beth’s kindness, patience, and commitment to others make a lasting impact on our school community. She leads by example in the way she treats students, families, and fellow staff members—with respect, compassion, and professionalism. We are incredibly grateful for the dedication she has shown to our district and our students for more than two decades
