School Smiles provides comprehensive dental healthcare services to children all around the country and last week Glendale Elementary was on their list of schools to visit! Their dental services are provided for insured AND uninsured so no child is denied services due to inability to pay. With parental consent, they provided complete services such as dental x-rays, cleanings, sealants , fluoride, restorative care, etc. The students that were seen also received a Dental Goodie Bag! THANK YOU to School Smiles for brightening our smiles at Glendale and promoting healthy habits!

I want to introduce you to Mrs. Stephanie Behr...She is the Media Paraprofessional at Glendale Elementary! Mrs. Behr has worked at Heritage Hill Elementary for the last 4 years but she is now putting her "Flamingo Mark" on Glendale as well. She has transformed the library into a reading oasis and started engaging with students last week. Mrs. Behr brings her love of literacy AND flamingos to our library. She shared that her passion for flamingos started as a family joke but now has become tradition as they all get each other flamingo gifts throughout the year. Make sure to give Mrs. Behr a "flamazing" welcome when you see her at Glendale!

GLENDALE SPOTLIGHT ON NEW STAFF:
I want to introduce you to Mr. Kemphaus...he is not new to Princeton City Schools but he is very new to Glendale Elementary. He has worked with children almost all of his life. Professionally, Mr. Kemphaus has worn many hats: Paraprofessional, Preschool Teacher, Building Substitute and now he is 1/2 of our Dynamic Duo in 3rd grade! Mr. Kemphaus is known for his massive tie collection, over 300 ties! During his student teaching, he implemented "Funtime Friday" where he wears one of his favorite novelty ties. Let's welcome him to Glendale with compliments on his fabulous ties!
