Today, Heritage Hill held its first ever Job Swap! Everyone gathered in the gym and the participating staff members spun a wheel to find out who they'd be for an hour! Mrs. Behr became Ms. Ard and taught kindergarten music, Principal Peterson was first grade teacher Mrs. Donovan (who she was ironically twinning with today!), Mrs. Forse became Principal Peterson, and the list goes on! Needless to say, the students absolutely loved this and had a great time watching the wheel spin and figuring out who would swap jobs with who! Plenty of great learning still took place during the hour long job swap and there were tons of smiles. Thanks to all of the staff who participated to make this a FUN experience for all! #AAGV

🦓🦛🦒 Heritage Hill 5th Grade Takes on the Cincinnati Zoo! 🦒🦛🦓 The fifth grade enjoyed a beautiful day at the zoo learning about animal adaptations and habitats! This trip was made possible thanks to the generosity of the Cincinnati Zoo, Heritage Hill Student Council and Ms. Borchers. #AAGV

Mrs. Bach and Mrs. Borcher's 5th grade classes from Heritage Hill got to experience the farm at Green Acres hands-on for their Inquiry at the Farm trip. Scientific inquiry is a way of doing science that includes making observations, forming hypotheses, designing studies, collecting data, and drawing conclusions. While spending time in the greenhouse and other growing spaces, even in winter, students will design and conduct a simple investigation to learn about farming through the inquiry process.
We are so thankful for this continued partnership with Green Acres which allows our students to experience these field trips free of charge including covering the cost of transportation.
