🦓🦛🦒 Heritage Hill 5th Grade Takes on the Cincinnati Zoo! 🦒🦛🦓 The fifth grade enjoyed a beautiful day at the zoo learning about animal adaptations and habitats! This trip was made possible thanks to the generosity of the Cincinnati Zoo, Heritage Hill Student Council and Ms. Borchers. #AAGV
Mrs. Bach and Mrs. Borcher's 5th grade classes from Heritage Hill got to experience the farm at Green Acres hands-on for their Inquiry at the Farm trip. Scientific inquiry is a way of doing science that includes making observations, forming hypotheses, designing studies, collecting data, and drawing conclusions. While spending time in the greenhouse and other growing spaces, even in winter, students will design and conduct a simple investigation to learn about farming through the inquiry process.
We are so thankful for this continued partnership with Green Acres which allows our students to experience these field trips free of charge including covering the cost of transportation.

🇺🇸 The Heritage Hill Staff landed safely back in the USA after our awesome worldwide adventure for Staff Appreciation Week! We were treated to Anything Bundtinis and Cracker Jacks! ❤️🤍💙 📢 Huge shoutout to Principal Peterson, Ms. Araceli, Mrs. Christina, Miss Maddy, and Mrs. Young for the incredible and FUN week! From the amazing food, to the fun decor, and even the passport stamps, it was clear that a lot of thought and intentional planning went into making everyone feel appreciated. We are so thankful for the support given by the Heritage Hill PTO and Vineyard Church as well! It takes a village and we are thankful for ours! 📢 ✈️ Thank you all for an incredible trip around the world! 🗺️ 🛂

Today is National School Nurse Day—a perfect time to give a big thank you to the amazing Princeton licensed school nurses, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and school health aides! 🎻 🎼 Heritage Hill hosts violin duet from the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra 🎼🎻
Yesterday, violinists Stacey Wooley and Evin Blomberg, of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, took us on a musical adventure around the world to enjoy the sounds of music from various countries and time periods. Their performance was interactive, engaging and included beautiful music. Students were able to make ties to a number of learning experiences they've had in the music classroom.
To make the day even more special, Kyle Lamb, education director for the CSO told us our students and school were one of the most well behaved schools they've ever been in and they look forward to continuing a partnership with Heritage Hill! Kudos to our student body for being an exceptional audience yesterday!

✈️ The Heritage Hill staff took a jet plane to Mexico for staff appreciation day today! 🇲🇽
We enjoyed a walking taco and nacho lunch bar prepared by our amazing office staff and Mi Terra Restaurant! 🌮It was delicious! As you can tell by the smiles we enjoyed stamping our passports with our Mexico stamp, the yummy food and look forward to our continued adventure tomorrow! 🛂
