An incredible weekend for the Heritage Hill 5th grade boys who attended The Anthony Munoz Hispanic Heritage Camp at Camp Chataqua! Character lessons, strength exercises, team building, and core memories made! We are so thankful for our partnership with the Anthony Munoz Foundation and the opportunities that are provided to our students! In a full circle moment, former Heritage Hill student, Jair Montiel, is now working at this same camp he once attended! 🇺🇸 Today we honor Veterans past and present for their dedication, bravery, courage and commitment to this nation as they served in the Armed Forces. 🇺🇸
We welcomed Veterans to Heritage Hill this afternoon for a special program, One Nation, presented by the 5th grade students. Special guest, Navy Veteran Seaman, James Davidson, read "Peppers Purple Heart" to classes. Students presented letters and cards to Veterans and got to learn a little bit about life as a soldier in the Army National Guard from Mrs. Christina.
We thank Mr. Bell, Mr. Brian and Mrs. Christina, Heritage Hill staff members, for their service! Happy Veterans Day!

🏕️ 📚 Camp Reads-A-Lot at Heritage Hill!
What a fun evening for our Heritage Hill families at our Family Literacy Night! We had bingo with prizes, books from the Princeton Mobile book bus, hot dogs, s'mores, pumpkin jokes, apple art, a cupcake walk, brain break dancing, popcorn, a Photo Booth, estimation jars (lanterns filled with marshmallows) & SO MUCH FUN!
125 student families attended last night- thank you! All students who attended had the opportunity to win a raffle basket- we had 5 winners whose names were drawn this morning!

Students have spent the last month campaigning for their favorite snack: Doritos or Takis, creating posters, and voting during their library time! Students were able to vote electronically or on a paper ballot.
The results of our favorite snack election are in and the winner is TAKIS!

Heritage Hill Kindergarten classes enjoyed the beautiful weather outside on Friday, November 1 for their first field trip of the year, to Parky's Farm!
