During the November 3rd Board of Education meeting, Springdale Elementary’s third-grade students, led by Music Teacher Mrs. Ligaya McGee, shared a heartfelt patriotic performance to honor local veterans for their service and sacrifice. Ms. Jessica Schuster, the art teacher, displayed fine pieces of artwork created by third-grade students. The Springdale Elementary Student Council also presented school-wide initiatives expressing gratitude and support for veterans and their families. Students gave special recognition to Mrs. Maria Coon, Special Education Paraprofessional and U.S. Air Force veteran, and Mr. Don Snyder, Custodian and U.S. Marine veteran.
