An incredible weekend for the Heritage Hill 5th grade boys who attended The Anthony Munoz Hispanic Heritage Camp at Camp Chataqua! Character lessons, strength exercises, team building, and core memories made! We are so thankful for our partnership with the Anthony Munoz Foundation and the opportunities that are provided to our students! In a full circle moment, former Heritage Hill student, Jair Montiel, is now working at this same camp he once attended! 🇺🇸 Today we honor Veterans past and present for their dedication, bravery, courage and commitment to this nation as they served in the Armed Forces. 🇺🇸
We welcomed Veterans to Heritage Hill this afternoon for a special program, One Nation, presented by the 5th grade students. Special guest, Navy Veteran Seaman, James Davidson, read "Peppers Purple Heart" to classes. Students presented letters and cards to Veterans and got to learn a little bit about life as a soldier in the Army National Guard from Mrs. Christina.
We thank Mr. Bell, Mr. Brian and Mrs. Christina, Heritage Hill staff members, for their service! Happy Veterans Day!
