Dear Lincoln Heights Families,
As the holiday season approaches, we’re reminded of the importance of community, gratitude, and giving. This year, we’re organizing a special donation drive to support our brave soldiers serving overseas who won’t be home for the holidays.
We’re collecting items and donations to send care packages filled with comfort, cheer, and appreciation. Whether it’s snacks, toiletries, handwritten cards, or small gifts, every contribution helps remind our troops that they’re not forgotten.

Here are some examples of things that can be donated:
Slim Jims or Beef Jerky
Packages of holiday nuts
Single-serving drink mix packets (i.e. Crystal Light, Powerade, etc.)
Candy Canes
Holiday candy (in sealed wrapping or small unopened bags)
Peanut Brittle
Single-serving cookie packages
Hot chocolate packets (must be in Ziploc baggies in case the packets breaks)
Travel-sized games
Card games (Uno, Phase 10)
Stress balls (holiday-themed preferred)
Holiday-themed writing pens or pencils
Small notepads
Puzzle book (Crosswords, Sudoku, Word Find)
Playing cards
Holiday-themed lip balm
Gloves (preferably black; winter; one size fits all)
Winter caps/hats
Socks
Items need to be sent to LHES before Friday, December 5, 2025. They will be shipped to our soldiers for the holidays.
