October Viking VIPs

Congratulations to our October Viking VIPs! These students have exemplified Habit 2: Begin with the end in mind. Additionally, we would like to express our gratitude to The Vineyard Church for their generous donation of juice and donuts to celebrate our VIPs with Mrs. Bailey.

Kindergarten: Alijah, Jamiah & Khylenn

Alijah has been working hard on Habit 2: Begin With the End in Mind. He loves to clean up when the time comes, and will help others clean up as well. Aljiah also understands he needs to do his work before he can play. Keep up the great work Alijah!

Jamiah is a great leader! She always displays amazing behavior! She completes her work and knows how to get good grades!

Khylenn demonstrates Habit 2, Begin with the End in Mind, as he contributes to class discussions, completes extended homework activities, and tries his best to memorize sight words. Khyleen is off to a great start building his Lincoln Heights Elementary legacy.

1st Grade: E’lani & Kenley

E'lani is rocking 1st grade!  She is working hard, setting goals and crushing them.  She "begins with the end in mind" with everything she does.  She uses whole body listening during instruction and follows through with her classwork.  Keep it up E'lani!

Kenley is our Viking VIP for October for always thinking ahead and finishing her work. She brings everything she needs each day and is always ready to learn. Kenley works hard and stays focused on her goals. She is a great example of a leader in our class!

2nd Grade: Kyrie & Kyan

I am so excited to nominate Kyrie as our Viking VIP! Kyrie demonstrates begin with the end in mind every day in class. He is continuing to work hard to conquer learning goals and literally never gives up. He works so hard and I am so proud of the effort and pride he takes in his work. Keep it up!

I am so excited to nominate Kyan! Kyan consistently demonstrates focus and determination in pursuing his goals, while also showing kindness and respect to those around him. His positive attitude, quiet leadership, and perseverance make him a role model! Keep it up!

3rd Grade: Dyllan & Ay’onna

Dyllan is always coming to school ready to learn and prepared for each class. He knows what we will do after lunch and gets out his materials before we head to lunch, so that he is ready to go as soon as we return. Dyllan sets the tone and exemplifies habit 2, beginning with the end in mind,  each and every day for himself and his peers. Keep it up Dyllan!

Ay'onna is always beginning with the end in mind. She is constantly practicing her fact fluency and reading skills! She takes time to listen to others, always being a leader and radiates kindness and positivity. Third grade is such a joy with Ay'onna in it! Keep up the fabulous work!

4th Grade: Nikko & Aloni

Nikko approaches his classes with a clear focus on his goals, always ready to dive into his assignments and actively engage in discussions. His friendly demeanor and constant smile create a positive atmosphere, making him a joy to be around. Keep up the fantastic work!

Aloni is a wonderful example of a student who always thinks with the end in mind. Whether it’s finishing a project or preparing for a test, she sets goals and works hard to achieve them. She is kind to her classmates, always offering a smile or a helping hand when someone needs support. Aloni's hardworking attitude and positive spirit make her a joy to have in class!

5th Grade: RhaNiya & Kennadi

RhaNiya is a student who really stands out in all classes.  She demonstrates habit two because she is always eager to participate and share her thoughts during class discussions, answering questions or offering her perspective.  

Kennadi Jordan begins with the end in mind. She always keeps her goals in the forefront of her mind. Anyone can tell as she is always focused and locked in to her work.

Art, P.E. & Music: Shashe, Messiah & Caleha

Shashe always imagines what she wants her artwork to look like before she even starts. She takes her time, and it’s so much fun to watch her ideas come to life on the page. She shows Habit 2 by thinking ahead and staying focused. Great job Shashe! 

Messiah is a goal oriented student inside and outside of PE. He is always prepared, is coachable, and always has the end in mind! Keep up the good work!

Caleha listens carefully and thinks about the goals of an activity.  She thinks about the materials and the steps needed to reach her goals.
