Congratulations to our November Viking VIPs! These students at Lincoln Heights have exemplified Habit 3: Put First Things First!
Kindergarten: Kaelani, Ka’Maria & Rahmir
Kaelani demonstrates Habit 3—Put First Things First! She comes in ready to learn, gets started on her work right away, and takes her time to complete each task carefully. She always gives her best effort, participates actively, and helps her classmates. Her hard work truly shines!
Ka'Maria Bray is a good Leader! In the beginning of the school year, she didn't know her name. She didn't know the letter & sounds. Now, Ka'Maria knows her name, all her letters & sounds and 16 sight words! Way 2 Go!
Rahmir is great at exhibiting Habit 3, Put First Things First. Rahmir always cleans up after himself and does what is asked of him. He knows we need to do work before we can have fun. Great job Rahmir!

Ist Grade: Ashanti & Ka’Zyla
Ashanti consistently works hard and completes classroom tasks with determination. She puts first things first, focusing on her work before moving on to the next thing. Ashanti is making huge progress across skills and shows a positive attitude toward learning each day. Way to go Ashanti!
Our Leader of the Month is Ka’Zyla! She shows Habit 3: Put First Things First by finishing her work and trying her best every day. Ka’Zyla works hard to learn new things and always makes good choices about what’s most important! Way to go!

2nd Grade: Nasir & Jaycion
Nasir is not only so incredibly kind and sweet but he always puts first things first. He is hardworking, dedicated, and always ready to learn something new. His positive attitude and determination inspires everyone around him. Congratulations on Viking VIP! Keep up the fantastic work
I am proud to nominate Jaycion Woods as our Viking VIP. He is kind and caring and always puts first things first. He is sweet, helpful, and always ready to lend a hand to others. He shows a strong desire to learn and grow every day, setting a great example for his classmates. I am so proud of his hard work and positive attitude!

3rd Grade: Alana & Khalil
Alana is a remarkable leader. She comes in each day and knows what her goals are. She completes all work and participates in all activities because she not only puts first things first, she also loves learning. She supports her peers and is a dynamic leader everyday!
Khalil always puts first things first! He truly always does the important things first. He is proactive, beyond kind, helpful and hardworking. He is such a great addition to our Lincoln Heights Family this year. Keep shining Khalil! I am so proud.

4th Grade: Ava & Ja’Zareah
Ava puts first things first daily when she prioritizes her responsibilities, arriving prepared to complete her tasks while maintaining a positive atmosphere in the classroom. She collaborates effectively with her peers and other groups, demonstrating genuine leadership skills.
Ja'Zareah is an amazing role model for her peers. She sets clear goals for herself and demonstrates determination and focus in achieving them. Her positive attitude inspires those around her. We are lucky to have her in our class!

5th Grade: Ki’Yale & Aidan
Ki'Yale is a student who wastes no time! He puts first things first because he comes into class, gets busy working on his assignments, participates in class, and follows directions.
Aidan represents Habit 3: Put first things first! Aidan focuses on his work first before doing anything else. He is so locked in and is a natural, silent leader. Whenever Mrs. Miller needs an example of a leader doing the right thing, she looks toward Aidan.

Specials: Aaliyah, Khylenn & Hannah
Aaliyah always puts first things first. She is organized, focused, and is always on task. No matter what is happening, I can count on her to be a quiet leader for her class!
I chose Khylenn because he consistently shows what it means to put first things first in the art room. He always comes in ready to work, focuses on his projects, and takes his time to do his best before moving on to anything else. His positive attitude and sense of responsibility make him a great example of Habit 3!
Hannah loves to play and chat with her friends, but is great at handling business first. Work first, play later. Great job, Hannah!
