Congratulations to our December Viking VIPs! These students at Lincoln Heights have exemplified Habit 4: Think Win Win!
Kindergarten: Corban, McKenzie & Brea

Corban has been working hard on Habit 4: Think Win-Win. He is learning to take turns, be patient, and work well with his friends. Corban encourages others when they do well. Keep up the great work, Corban!
McKenzie always finds ways to Think Win-Win. She is very helpful to others in problem solving and finding solutions.
Brea shows Habit 4, Think Win-Win, because she’s caring, compassionate, and always thinks of her classmates. Her smile brightens everyone’s day!
1st Grade: Jeremiah & Sofia

Jeremiah is our Viking VIP because he always uses the Think Win-Win habit to help everyone get along. He tries to find solutions that make both him and his classmates happy. Jeremiah shows great leadership by being kind and making good choices. He is a wonderful role model for our whole class.
Sofia consistently looks for win‑win solutions and models kindness for classmates; she offers help without being asked and encourages others to be thoughtful and kind. She is considerate of others' feelings and approaches conflicts with a positive attitude, helping the class feel safe and supported.
2nd Grade: Ny’lah & Jamiahna

Ny’lah always thinks of others before herself. I am so proud of how she always thinks of her peers and how she can help them in any situation. She is cooperative and never competitive. She is a role model and a leader and keeps the win-win attitude all the time.
Congratulations to Jamiahna for always demonstrating think win-win! She consistently shows kindness, seeking win-win solutions, and demonstrating genuine care for others. Keep up the great work and leadership!
3rd Grade: Leah & Kimora

Leah is a leader in many ways! She is diligent about getting her own tasks completed, yet always helps her peers. When it comes to Habit 4-THINK WIN WIN, Leah sets the bar high! If she sees someone who needs help, she offers it. If there is a dispute on the playground, she offers others a turn. If a teacher needs to designate a team captain, Leah is ready for the job and shows respect to all teammates as she leads. She listens to others ideas fully and is happy when others have opportunities!
Kimora is constantly finding ways everyone can win. She checks in with her peers during group work to make sure they feel involved and are heard. She truly has such a kind heart. She does great communicating with her classmates and making everyone she speaks to feel special. I am glad she joined our LH family this year.
4th Grade: Dakota & Amina

Dakota exemplifies the 'win-win' mindset by not only striving for his own academic excellence but also actively seeking opportunities to uplift and collaborate with his classmates, creating a truly collaborative learning environment. Dakota is always positive and amazing to have in class!
Amina consistently demonstrates Habit #4: Think Win-Win. She is always looking for ways to collaborate and find solutions that work for everyone. Her willingness to compromise and ensure that all students feel valued makes her a wonderful member of our class. We are lucky to have her!
5th Grade: Aniya & Nehemiah

Anyia always thinks win-win! Anyia is such a team player and her classmates and teachers are so lucky to have her on our squad. She works hard in any setting and pulls her weight in each team she is on.
Nehemiah has excellent behavior. He shows a win-win attitude because he is very cooperative in class and is always willing to help others. He is an example for his peers because he has a great balance of expressing his needs and wants while thinking of other students’ needs and wants.
Specials: Aloni, Kennadi & Ry’Anna

I chose Aloni for Habit 4 because she shows a Think Win-Win attitude in the art room! She works well with her classmates, shares, and helps everyone succeed. She also shows leadership by encouraging others and setting a positive example, making our art room a better place.
Kennadi is constantly thinking "Win-Win". She is kind and can cooperate effectively with anyone. Also, she is a quiet leader who is always willing to extend a helping hand. Keep it up!
Ry'Anna often does challenging things in music class to make sure the whole class benefits. She also will make adjustments to make sure there is plenty of room for others.
