Students at Lincoln Heights Elementary School took part in a hand-on experience at the Jackson Street Garden, thanks to a community partnership between the school, Jackson Street Garden, and the Heights Movement.
In May, nearly 80 students walked down Jackson Street to the garden, learning about agricultural techniques, gardening tips, food security, and the importance of Healthy Living.
Chick-fil-A donated lunches to the students as well on the field trip to the Garden.
Princeton City Schools is committed to cultivating and developing community partnerships that help foster positive educational experiences and community pride.
