College Credit Plus

The CCP program at PHS was initiated to offer college credit opportunities to all students.  The specifics are detailed under the College Credit Plus Section.  All students choosing to take College Credit Plus classes must test as “college ready.”  This can be accomplished by providing a qualifying ACT or SAT score as well as qualifying using the Accuplacer test.  The Accuplacer is given at the Princeton High School for grades 6-11.  The Accuplacer is also available at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College for a fee. Students wishing to take CCP/AP/IB courses in English and/or Social Studies must earn qualifying scores on the Reading or Writing Accuplacer (available for grades 8-11). Students wishing to take CCP/AP/IB courses in Math or Science must earn qualifying scores on the Quantitative Reasoning Accuplacer (available for grades 10-11).  Practice test resources can be found here.

*Students who are not recommended for CCP/AP/IB courses may not be scheduled to take those courses even if they have qualifying scores.

Students interested in taking a CCP course on or off-campus for the school year MUST participate in the mandatory CCP Information Presentation.
