Mrs. Burke's third grade group had a wonderful time making French toast! As part of connecting learning to real-life experiences, they revisited some of the letter blends they practiced a few months ago while reading a story about a mother making French toast. Surprisingly, three of the students had never even heard of French toast before, which made the experience even more exciting and meaningful. The students enjoyed being hands-on in the kitchen, trying something new, and making connections between reading and everyday life. It was such a fun and memorable experience for both the students! #SPLittleVikes #AAGV
