Dear Princeton High School Families,

The Princeton City School District is aware of the situation regarding bus passes for Princeton High School students containing inaccurate information. We are working with First Student, our transportation provider, on rectifying the concerns.

In collaboration with First Student, the Princeton City School District has developed the following solutions to ease concerns regarding transportation moving forward into the 2026-27 school year:

  • New, corrected bus passes will be e-mailed to all Princeton High School families on the evening of Friday, August 14, 2026. These new passes will have the correct information, including pick-up time, pick-up stop location, and bus number. These new bus passes will be in effect immediately.

  • New bus passes and the information contained within will also be available on the FirstView App the following day on Saturday, August 15, 2026.

The Princeton City School District encourages all families to take advantage of the FirstView App, provided by First Student. The app allows parents and students to access bus pass information, track the bus to ensure timely pick-up and drop-off, and receive notifications of arrivals and delays. This tool gives families a source of transportation information at the palm of their hands.

To download the app, visit MyFirstView.com or search “First View” in the App Store.

With Health & Safety and Effective Communication being two of the five pillars of the Princeton City School District’s Strategic Plan, Princeton is committed to keeping families informed of and engaged in their student’s safety from pick-up in the morning to drop-off in the afternoon.

If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to contact First Student at 513-554-0105.

Thank you for your patience as we work to make sure our students are transported safely to and from school.

Sincerely,

Jon Fricke, Director of Operations

Princeton City School District
