Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) 2026-2027

August 2026

Dear Parent or Guardian:

We are pleased to inform you that Princeton City Schools will implement a new option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs, called the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP), for School Year 2026-2027.

What does this mean for you and your children attending the school(s) identified above? Great news for you and your students! All enrolled students at Evendale Elementary, Glendale Elementary, Heritage Hill Elementary, Lincoln Heights Elementary, Sharonville Elementary, Springdale Elementary, Stewart Elementary, Woodlawn Elementary, Princeton Community Middle School, and Princeton High School are eligible to receive a healthy breakfast and lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2026-2027 year through the Community Eligibility Provision.

Innovation Center students will receive a free breakfast meal through the Universal Free Breakfast program.

No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

• A Household Income Survey will need to be completed for the Instructional Fee Waiver at CEP locations.

• The Innovation Center will need to complete a Free and Reduced Meal Application for the Fee Waiver. If we can be of any further assistance, please contact us at (513) 864-1023 or fservice@vikingmail.org

Sincerely,

Jean Sparks, Director of Food Service
