Woodlawn Elementary is proud to recognize Ms. Ashley Lee for her exceptional dedication, compassion, and impact on our students. As an Intervention Specialist with ten years of experience, Ms. Lee brings extraordinary skill and heart to her work by helping students navigate social interactions and build meaningful connections.

Now in her third year teaching social communication classes for grades three to five at Woodlawn, Ms. Lee is known for transforming challenges into successes. Her approach and commitment create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and empowered to grow.

Ms. Lee shared what fuels her passion for her role:

“I have 10 years of experience working in education as an Intervention Specialist! This is my third year teaching in the 3rd–5th grade social communication classroom at Woodlawn Elementary. I love spending time with my family; we enjoy being outside and all things sports. The most fulfilling part of my role is the deep relationships I build with my students. Some of my students I’ve had for three years, and it’s amazing to see the progress they’ve made in communication, regulation, independence, and academics.”

We are grateful for the compassion, consistency, and expertise Ms. Lee brings to Woodlawn every day. She is a #DifferenceMaker who is empowering each student for college, career, and life success.

Congratulations, Ms. Lee, on being featured in this week’s Staff Shout Out!
