Statement from Princeton City Schools on the Passing of former Princeton Administrator and GMC Commissioner Steve Shuck
Princeton City Schools is deeply saddened by the passing of Steve Shuck, a lifelong educator, mentor, and cornerstone of our district and community. Through his work as a teacher, coach, and administrator, Steve shaped generations of Princeton students and helped build the foundation of our athletic programs, culminating in his induction into the Princeton Athletic Hall of Fame in 2006. His decades of leadership in the Greater Miami Conference elevated not only Princeton, but high school athletics across the region.
A proud resident of Springdale, Steve’s legacy extends far beyond athletics. He was a servant leader who cared deeply about people and community. His impact will be felt for years to come in the lives he touches, the standards he set, and the pride he brought to Princeton City Schools.
Princeton extends its sincere condolences to Steve’s family and friends during this difficult time.
