The Princeton Music Department was honored to present the 2026 Louis Armstrong School Jazz Award to senior Dominic Cruz Galan. The award is presented to the student voted upon by all members of PHS Jazz. It is given in recognition of "outstanding musical achievement and an incredible dedication to the program."
The Louis Armstrong Jazz Award® was inaugurated in 1974 with the consent of his widow shortly after this great jazz artist died in 1971. It honors the outstanding jazz musician at each high school.
