Lincoln Heights Students Unveil 4th Grade History Pass Plus Ticket

The America 250-Ohio Commission visited Lincoln Heights Elementary on Thursday, May 21, to officially announce and launch the 4th Grade History Pass Plus Program, which allows 4th grade students across Ohio to go to select museums and historic sites for free, along with three additional guests!

FOR PARENTS! Here's how to use the 4th Grade Pass Plus:

Students who completed fourth grade during the 2025-26 school year are eligible for the 4th Grade History Pass Plus. Throughout the month of July 2026, pass holders can visit any of the approximately 41 participating site across Ohio and receive free admission for themselves and up to three accompanying guests.

Here's how it works.

  • Get a 4th Grade History Pass. Princeton City Schools will distribute passes to every 4th grader before the end of the 2025-26 school year. If you lose the pass or otherwise don't receive one, you can go to America250-Ohio.org/fourth-grade-pass and download or print the pass.

  • Review the list of participating locations on the website. Participating museums in Hamilton County include the Cincinnati Museum Center, the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center, William Henry Harrison Tomb, and the Harriet Beecher Stowe House.

  • Present the pass, either digitally or printed, while visiting the ticketing booth at the location throughout the month of July.

  • Enjoy learning more about Ohio and American history!

July 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, and America 250-Ohio has designed the month to be filled with opportunities for Ohioans of all ages to engage with history, community and celebration. The 4th Grade History Pass Plus is one of several programs timed to make July a landmark month for Ohio families. Participating sites across the state, from the Ohio History Center and Cincinnati Museum Center to the Western Reserve Historical Society, Campus Martius Museum, Fort Meigs Historic Site and dozens more, offer immersive, hands-on experiences that bring Ohio’s contributions to the American story to life.

The 4th Grade History Pass Plus is made possible through the generous support of program sponsors GE Aerospace, Nordson Corporation and Honda, whose commitment to Ohio’s communities and its future generations has helped make this expanded offering possible.

On hand for the celebration at Lincoln Heights were representatives from GE Aerospace, Nordson Corporation, and the Cincinnati Museum Center.
